@Brad - i think the problem was caused by another plugin on my server - old ver of hobo_afk_management but after hobo updated that plugin, i no longer have that error with badcamper.

can you please add "badcamper_limit" separately for different teams?
example:
badcamper_limitt - sets time for terrorist team
badcamper_limitct - sets camp time limit for cts

For example, if it cs map T's will be allowed to camp in one spot a bit longer because they have to guard hostages and if there is de map on cts allowed to camp a bit longer.

Yeah, that makes sense to allow that. Hopefully people using the plugin won't abuse it. I'll get it in there for the next release.

Hey Brad, or anyone else who may know, is it possible to make this plugin come into effect mid way through a round? We run a zombie mod server and find the last 30 seconds there is only usually one survivor, this is where we want the camper plugin to punish, rather than all of the round, is this feasible?

I totally forgot that you can do this as the plugin currently exists. You'll need to adjust the badcamper_start CVAR. It indicates how many seconds after freeze time to start checking. So, if your rounds are 2 minutes long and you only want people to not camp for the last 30 seconds, you'd set badcamper_start to something like 90. Keep in mind, that if you're going to have such a short window, you'll want to adjust some of the other CVARs as well to speed up the meter.

I've decided not to implement this. Doing so would make this plugin CS-specific, and I'd rather not do that. Further, I'm not too keen on increasing the complexity of the plugin as this change would do.

Yeah, so... It's something you can do yourself, fairly easily. Look in the code for these two defines: TOLERANCE_ATTACKING and TOLERANCE_DEFENDING. Adjust to your heart's content. Sorry I forgot about this before.

Yeah, I hit a wall in WoW (again) whereas I just don't see much point in playing. I'm sure I'll go MIA again in a few months. :wink:

This isn't normally needed, as "fakemeta" should be autoloaded, but, edit your .\configs\modules.ini file and remove the semicolon from in front of "fakemeta".

When i download the badcamper.sma then compile, i saw something which is i not sure will affect the server or not. But this compile this 1 i saw this :

It says usage is unknown, due to recursion. But it seems i still get the badcamper.amxx after that. Why?

i've set the immunity to "t" (as "Custom Level H") but doesent seem to work :( what should i do (the "t" acces lvl is only for owners on my server), i dont want the owners to get slaped.

I have a strange problem...bad_camper is shown running when i check in the server console using "amxx plugins" command..but actually d plugin isnt working.. al the values set r default. plz help..

Sorry..it was working...had to turn badcamper_debug to 1..
but i hav another problem..there is this message

SV_StartSound: misc/snore.wav not precached (0)

the snoring sound isnt coming.. but if i change it to "badcamper_sound 2" then i can hear the heartbeat. the snore.wav file is present in the sound/misc folder but no heartbeat.wav is present there.. so what d hell is happenning!!!!!!!

The plugin working or not working is NOT based on badcamper_debug. For that matter, unless *I* have told you otherwise or you know what you're doing, you should NOT set badcamper_debug to 1. There is a reason that CVAR is undocumented.

I have no idea why the snore sound isn't precaching for you. It works for me and many others. Perhaps you're running a Non-Steam server. Perhaps you have a different plugin conflicting with this one. Perhaps the installation of your server is messed up.

Compile the plugin using the same version of AMXX that you have installed. Same will be true for any other plugin you wish you put on your server.
