Shape Shifter v1.7 about: You can buy shapes (model files) and shift into them! Every sift costs you money, but if someone discovers you, shoots at you and hits, you will lose 1/2 of your hp. If you die you will have to buy a new shape. Cvars: ss_enabled 1 - Toggles plugin (1 on, 0 off, 2 for admins with immunity only) ss_shape_cost 800 - Cost of shape ss_shift_cost 200 - Cost of shift ss_free_for_admins 0 - If 1 free for admins with immunity flag ss_popup - If 1 and you have no model selected the model menu pops up on roundstart ss_changecam 1 - If 1 changes to thirdperson while shifted ss_canmove 0 - If 1 players can move while shifted Commands: say /ss - Shows shape menu say_team /ss - Shows shape menu +\-shift - shifts\puts you back (this should be binded) Installation: Put ss_models.ini in configs dir For per map cofiguration make a folder ss_maps and put [mapname].ini in it Syntax: Code:
;[Model sequence] [Z ax offset (float)] [Model file] [Name] ss_mdl_up - Sets model offset +1.0 ss_mdl_down - Sets model offset -1.0 These are used to find out the correct offset for new models (ADMIN_KICK required) Some models wont spawn at the right hight, so they need an offset. The menu is empty when I type /ss (im not retarded, I've installed everything correctly)
EDIT: When running on listenserver I had to extract the models with gcfscape. [Requests] Admins with immunity don't have to pay Option to change player model completely |

So you can change yourself into eg. HL models such as scientists?
Would be cool if you wouldn't just be transparent, but actually have the model you're hiding "in" to be the skin. Also agree with turning the disguise into a complete player model as in functions, still being able to do everything, with optional cvars for being able to attack, plant/defuse/rescue etc. (since it COULD give an unfair advantage, however I'll keep in mind disguises are payed for) Lastly, I'm not sure if this is possible but... How about taking models and stuff from (custom) specific maps which can also be used? For example I somehow select a bush model in some custom map which is saved to a file (or DB?) and I can choose to let that be on the choosing menu, but ONLY for that specific map - so noone will have to download anything extra, but still have access to more diverse disguises. Also this ofcourse has a little tactical advantage of the disguised person looking less "out of place" in the map, especially in themed maps. --- In any case I'll download now cos there's no extra files downloading needed, but I'd love to see this per-map feature added ^^ EDIT: DIdn't read first post completely, the custom files for each map could probably be added to the .ini file |
