problem installing PTB
 

Hello :)

I dont get the ptbx to work. I have installed it like it
sais in readme. Put the binary files inn "addons" and the
xadmin folder in cfg. Then I put "exec xadmin/ptb.cfg" in server.cfg

Isnt that it?

I run mani admin and metamod on the server.

Yeah, ever since they took away cl_restrict_server_commands (permanently set it to one) a few months ago roughly, PTBx no longer works.

I posted it about it in another thread a while back ( http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...t=48450&page=5 ).

Technically, to make it work, whoever maintains it could just change it to use ma_swapteam from Mani, which works. Even though PTBx doesn't work right on my server, I still keep the plugin loaded (the team switch functionality off), because having it loaded makes it so ma_swapteam can swap living players without killing them. Sometimes to balance the teams, I'll do "ma_swapteam #ALL" at the end of a round, to switch both teams to opposite sides. Pretty neat feature, but far from PTBx's old glory.
