noob questions.

do i need to re-compile all my heroes? , im asking because i dont have the sma's for half of them.
what aside from the superherovault.amxx should i replace? includes?

sorry, i just wanna get all this right the first time.

jtp10181 05-16-2005 21:53

replace everything (including the heroes), and yes you might need to recompile other heroes for things to work correctly. Such as the cooldown timer fixes, since they were fixes in the includes.

He does have a todo list if you look at the sma

Code:

*  To-Do:
*
*        - Make Bots randomly pick powers
*        - Admin menu for giving XP / levels / etc. Also for resetting and other admin commands.
*        - Config file to make heroes only avliable to certian access flags.
*        - Config file to list authids immune to XP resetting (maybe save with XP data?)
*        - CVAR / define for saving XP by name.
*        - CVAR for old style XP modding - how fast to level ("slow","medium","fast","normal","long")

It defaults to non-persistant connections now, it makes a new connection everytime it does something. If you are using a local mysql server you could enable the persistant connection and it would prob work a little better. Otherwise the non persistant seems to work better for remote databases.
