[EXTENSION] [L4D2] 8+ players Bug Fixes (1.0.2)

This extension try fix next bugs on server have more than 8 players:
1) Survivor finale score bug
2) Charger stop bug
3) Witch incorrect player attack

Witch correct player attack not work great, the bot (same character) touch the witch then she attack me
But i can find the extension can find the correct person who started the witch (in log)

This extension cause my SM1.3 server cant change to next map (change back to original map or crash)

I know this :) Its because the server is secured with Valve Anti Cheat

And that for now everything works without problems :)

1) Survivor finale score bug - Both teams in my server get same score ,even if first team failed
2) Charger stop bug - Yes its fixed but why the hell survivors float out of map and get stuck in a invisible wall O_O
3) Witch incorrect player attack (beta-beta fix) - Sometimes works and sometimes not :(

mm, a witch spawned on the Atrium finale, as soon as it was startled the server crashed.

I would PM you my logs but nothing appeared in it showing any relation to the extension.

Although what you said on your first post makes me think that it was? If you still want the logs Ill be happy to PM them to you.

You have to understand there can be no crash in one witch, or all(any) wiches crashs server, or not.
And I write above
If extension not work(or incorrect work!!!), post also you game version and OS (win\unix)
Server can crash only in 3 steps writed on first post. If you server PASS all 3 steps - there can be no other crashs

Linux server crashed after someone startled the witch. It was on map
c2m2_fairgrounds. As you can see, which was startled and about 4 seconds later server crashed. It takes 15 seconds for the server to restart.

At c4m2, I wasn't in game, but it looks like which was startled before it happend.

Hi V10, im have try this extension today, i thinks is incompatible with the l4d2_infected_release.smx. i had no errors in SourceMod before, now release for hunter, jockey, charger don't work.

V10 I have some suggestion to fix.

If there are 2 or more of each survivors, just 1 of each can get incendiary ammo, the others can't ..we got the message "You have already get incendiary ammo" something like that".

The players who are in "TAB", if they die stop contain points during the map.

Hi, I had a lot of server crash today.
It often happen when the witch is attacking. Sometimes the witch is freeze and don't know where to go. I thinks if she stay too long in that state, that cause a crash. Difficult to say if the charger may be involved, because I can not see all the players at the same time, in addition to the witch. But when I had the control I had no problems.
I will remove this fix for a moment, i love it for the charger fix but... :cry:

Try sourcemod 1.4.0 then. Been experecing bad results with some plugins on sm 1.3.1. What OS is your server on? Can you type status in console
and copy the server parts?

This is not a server running 24/24, but I does not crash every hour after launch. I use the 1.3.1 to avoid problem as the 1.4 is a developer version, but if you are thinking that it might work better without crash as now I am ready to try.
I removed this fix today and incendary/explosive fix, alway no error in SM but still random crash... :cry:

Well, you got a lot of plugins there, but if your server only crashes when which is startled or when she attacks, it must be this extension.
Try 1.4.0 hg2946 first, if the server is still crashing while witch is startlled, I guess you'd have to speak with V10.

I'm running a linux server and after latest update, it stopped the witch crash, but this fix was only for linx. I have no idea if it's still exists on windows servers.

Crash again on 1.4, map streets and atrium when the witch start.
Possible have only the charger fix on this exts ?

The Survivor finale score bug fix is this meant to fix how many survivors have escaped?

Because it always shows 4 have escaped even through 10 have.
