Dedicated CSGO Server ignoring botprofile.db
 

My mate and I were setting up a lan to play against improved bots together but an issue has caught my eye. Even though I set certain bots to play with rifles only (AK, Galil, Famas, etc) and certain bots to prioritize AWP, the rifle bots keep buying awps and the AWP bots only randomly buy awp, even when they can afford it.

I notice the server actually listens to the botprofile.db only in warmup. The rifle bots buy rifles and the awp bots buy awps. But once warmup ends, it doesn't matter, and they start buying weapons that I specified in botprofile.db they shouldn't be allowed to buy. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I notice when it happens, in the console on my laptop, I get a message "No profile found to match search criteria. Not updating this bot's difficulty." Anyone have any idea about this?

Theory: some bots don't match bot_difficulty so they are different bots.

Interesting theory. I'll see what happens if I try bot_difficulty 2 then
