This plugin eliminates the aiming cone from users when enabled. To see what I mean, watch this video of before and after:

(EDIT: after finally getting a new video up there, the quality is terrible. hopefully you can figure out what's going on)

Commands
  • iag_set <target> <0|1> - makes target aim good, or not
  • iag_auto <0|1> - sets automatic aim good mode on or off

Both commands require ADMIN_BAN access. When iag_auto is enabled, all players in the game and all new players that join will automatically aim good. Valid targets for iag_set are:

* or @ALL - everyone
@TERRORIST - all players on the terrorist team
@CT - all players on the counter-terrorist team
@BOT - all bots
@HUMAN - all non-bots
@ADMIN - all admins
@USER - all non-admins

iag_set only effects players currently in the game, and not anyone that joins the game later.

Cvars
  • iag_cv_noknives (default 1) - disables this from effecting knives in Counter-Strike. if this cvar is disabled, you can knife snipe.
  • iag_cv_auto (default 0) - the behind-the-scenes cvar that is changed with the iag_auto command.

Requires Fakemeta.

This only effects the server side, not the client side. This means that you will still see bullet holes and sparks where you would have hit if this wasn't enabled.

Please also note that this does not eliminate weapon recoil (your view kicking around). So for example, it would still be hard to kill people with M249 spray because your view moves around so much.

I used Fraps (my brother got a free reg key for it from World of Warcraft closed beta, so I use that) and it was a combined file size of 761 MB. I loaded the files into Windows Movie Maker, added captions, and the compiled version was only 7 MB or so.

It wouldn't get rid of the recoil, just like this isn't a no recoil plugin. No recoil plugins eliminate the view punch, this removes the random cone of fire and makes it exactly where your crosshair is.

I thought because DoD just moves your crosshair when you shoot. Oh well, nice job.

I wasn't aware that the scout wasn't dead on when not scoped. But yes, this will make any gun dead on regardless of scope or not.
