Bot Played Time Faker
∞ v1.2, released December 17th, 2014


Small module, requested by someone, which randomizes the played time of bots, when you're looking to the server infos.
Tested with Podbots & CZ bots ; but it should work with any bots.

Credit to ghost of evilspy, author of JKBotti (HL bots), from where I've stolen his method.

INSTALLATION

  1. From GitHub repository, Download bot_played_time_faker-xx.zip and unzip the content directly in your $mod/addons/ directory.
  2. Open your metamod/plugins.ini file, and add the follwing line :
    - Windows : win32 addons/bot_played_time_faker/bot_played_time_faker_mm.dll
    - Linux : linux addons/bot_played_time_faker/bot_played_time_faker_mm_i386.so
  3. Restart and it's ready.

It would be really nice if we could change time for players also, through natives :P

Well, it's kind of unrelated to this module and I don't understand how it can be useful on real players ?

I hope this method don't work with fake spectators...
Fake spectators are a problem in steam master list.

rename souce > source. typing error.

Don't know, and honestly I don't care. If these "fake spectators" are actually real entities and has a valid authid, it will work. I thought these "fake servers" was gone with the latest update ?

Usually you see like more than 15 people in a server, you lookup with the server infos and all got the same play time. So you don't join that server. With this, nothing to say more, this sucksfor me now and for other people for sure.
