Back then there was a extensive discussion in the Donor Section of AMXX about having a Discord Server, pretty much the response was there was no need because IRC existed (which also, arguments about supporting open source technologies). Weird arguments, but okay I guess.

Fast forwards today, turns out there's an official SourceMod discord server after the AlliedMods admins requested it of a community made server, which pretty much destroyed all the discussion I mentioned before. I tried to bump the thread again but got no official response.

Create a channel for amxx in sourcemod channel i think is better to do it
so, these two sections can live together in peace

There is an IRC server? Dude, I joined that several months ago and I thought I "virtually" traveled back in time, probably in 2009. Don't know who said it, but whoever did was madly wrong.

Commented in the sourcemod discord regarding it. Would be useful if a few of you guy's joined to get that going

On an additional note, it is possible to bridge IRC and Discord using bots, maybe it will be good for those who aren't willing to leave IRC.

That has been done before, and it was removed because it was annoying seeing Discord messages from IRC.
