Setting up a "pro" server

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for this great website!

I know this might be boring for some of you but I really need your help!
Kindly, I would like to know (step by step) how to create a server so I can play with my firends. Some stuff I couldn't figure out:
1- How can I add a welcome message/photo that everyone sees when they enter the server?
2- How to show on screen some info about the player who killed me like player X killed you from X distance with X shots blablabla..?
3- How to have full control on the server? Kick someone or change buying time or end the game etc..?
4- What other plugins or mods are usually used and helpful in the known servers?

I just installed CS 1.6 WarZone and AMX MOD 1.8.2 but I just couldn't find what i'm looking for anywhere.

Come back once you downloaded and installed Cs1.6 from STEAM. Non-steam is not supported here.

Edit your MOTD (motd.txt). It's HTML so you can easily add an image and a welcome message.
I believe this is a built-in feature of AMX Mod X (though I'm sure there are alternatives) that you need to enable. You can pull up the stats config menu with amx_statscfgmenu (this requires that you are an admin with flag "h").
Add yourself as an AMX Mod X admin with the appropriate flags. See here.
Find plugins that you want and add them.
