I'm looking for a video card in the price range of $200 - $300.

It must be able to support counter strike source and get 100 fps or over in that game

Willing to go a little over $300 if its worth it.

ATI Radeon x1600 is like 170$ish. What one do you have now?

I have a intergraded one it only gets 80 -90 fps in 1.6 and 13 in source :cry:


How many fps will the ATI Radeon x1600 get in 1.6 and source?

I want at least 100 fps in source

Yeah integrated sucks, I had an integrated one and replaced it with a 6200 Nvidia for 40$ and now I get 100 FPS on 1.6.
1.6 you'll definitely get 100 FPS with a x1600, and probably on source too, but wait til someone else posts, I'm just guessing because I have never played source.

Yeah those are cheap and integrated, just google ATI radeon. I think x1600 might only be for notebooks, but check out this website to find out info about the top video cards.

I got the nVidia 7600GT KO.

I get from 150-300 in source

and 400ish in 1.6 with max res and everything ;)

You will have to buy a new power supply though.

And mine was only 50 dollars for power supply.
