Anyone tried to Sourcebans w/Comms package yet? I'm planning on looking it it later but wanted to see if it was smooth for everyone.

Yes island I meant anyone besides the guy who created it...

Is it a straight copy/paste over the older files?

sarabveer, i noticed you included the game files as well, were these files updated as well? or were the web files updated alone?
thanks

I only updated the WebPanel, since the plugin has no issues if you use SourceMod 1.6.2 or higher on TF2 (I'm not sure about 1.7), other games still use the old SteamID's.

Can you tell me exactly what files you updated to make this steamID3 change cause I really don't want to have to go thru and redo some other things that I've customized after an update.

why? SteamID is always the better thing to ban then ip.

Not really...people that really want to cause havoc will create alt accounts but if you IP ban them they can't get around that using alts. I've seen someone do just this with 30+ alts once just to annoy a server owner, so yea IP banning is better. It is possible you could effect someone else but then at that point they can just appeal the ban and you can deal with it then rather than a flood of issues at that time.

There are many people who also have a dynamic ip, so that is also an issue.
