server have about 50 players ,and enable noblock plugin , i teleport them to me and all player just don't move , server sv will increase and when player spread out, sv drop to normal any information about this? the image is cpu useage [ players all in same position --- player spread out -- players all in same position again] |
Re: [CSGO]server high sv when player in same position
It's normal, game engine calculate "collide" and physics.
By the way, why you use noblock plugin in csgo? It have own cvar for it. ...more players in same "sector", more cpu and network bandwidth in use. CSGO also is not light game anymore, because all those different player/weapon models and skins etc. etc. to share. Also if map is created and optimized well using map tools textures, server get less burden. Main key is, hide most players from each other. |

Hi Bacardi, about what CS:GO cvar are you talking about? And what do you mean by "Main key is, hide most players from each other." ? Can this basically help the server from having high sv/var, or just improve the FPS for players? |
Re: [CSGO]server high sv when player in same position
Server send less updates of players position, which you don't see.
...but of course, this is very old game engine. 50 players in CSGO is too much. |
