Hello there, I would like to know are Images in signatures or normal posts updated or they stay same since they're uploaded ?
Why I'm asking this ? Well, I know generated BB codes get updated (like the ones used for steam). But it seems normal images aren't updated (when they're changed from FTP) AS FAR as I previewed them with the button below..

They're proxied via the forum server and cached semi-permanently, to avoid leaking information about visitors to external sites and so we can ensure there are no mixed content or safe-browsing warnings when browsing the forum.

EDIT: Actually, they're cached according to the headers sent by the origin server, so just make sure you're setting them appropriately.
