I haven't tried it, but it seems like a fun little game mode to play with your friends or something. Nice idea.

Can you update this plugin to work with Team Fortress 2?
After installation I can use the menu, I can see the gnome, I can save the gnome, and then nothing happens. The gnome doesn't spawn. After reading this (https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Game_Events_(Source) I realized that round start event in TF2 was different so I tried changing the hook event from 'round start' to 'teamplay_round_start' but that didn't work either. Edit: Changing hook event to 'teamplay_round_start' does work. Apparently after placing the gnome(s) the gnome locations are saved in a txt file for that map. If you come back to that map later the gnome(s) will eventually spawn. Question 1: Can you add a command to force spawn the gnome using one of the locations stored in the txt file? Question 2: Can you add a command to force spawn a gnome based on where the admin is looking? Question 3: The plugin didn't say anything when the gnome spawned. Can you fix that? When I shot the gnome it displayed 'Gnome was found by PC Gamer'. Question 4: How many gnomes are spawned in a round? At what interval? |

Sorry, forgot to mention that map change is required for gnomes to start spawning. It should be working with default "round_start" event because it's generic source engine event (exists in all games).
Answer 1: Will do it in next version. Answer 2: Will do it in next version. Answer 3: It should work. Try again with "sm_gnome_hunt_spawn_message" "1" and after map change. Answer 4: One gnome per round. But I don't know when I will have time to update this plugin. |

When you save map and change map or reload plugin by default settings only one gnome will appear at one random saved location per round. And default chance to appear is 50% so this might be reason why you don't see gnome.
Try to increase chance to 100% and notify me if you still can't find gnome. |

Hello, I have tried the gnome in Half Life 2: DM.
It's great with the menu, you place the gnome and it appears on the map. But there are two problems. 1: The gnome can apparently not be destroyed. 2: it would be nice if the gnome could start automatically. |
