Errors in Smac Translation Files

Hi there

I got some errors which occur on all my Smac protected Servers.

L 10/22/2011 - 06:00:35: [SM] Fatal error encountered parsing translation file "da/smac.phrases.txt"
L 10/22/2011 - 06:00:35: [SM] Error (line 55, column 70): Line contained too many invalid tokens
L 10/22/2011 - 06:00:35: [SM] Fatal error encountered parsing translation file "fi/smac.phrases.txt"
L 10/22/2011 - 06:00:35: [SM] Error (line 90, column 59): Line contained too many invalid tokens

This sometimes even leads to a crash on our gungame Server (got many Players from foreign countries there). So how to get some fixed translation files?

Many thanks 4 every help

Re: Errors in Smac Translation Files

Does your SMAC.log show anything around the same time as these errors?

Re: Errors in Smac Translation Files

No, nothing besides...

[SM] Unable to load extension "curl.ext": /home/gs/css-gungame/css/cstrike/addons/sourcemod/extensions/curl.ext.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

But as mentioned in that other thread, this is harmless.

Re: Errors in Smac Translation Files

If you uploaded the translations using FTP then it's possible that they were changed along the way. Can you transfer and view the "da/smac.phrases.txt" file to see if there are extra spaces at the top or incompleted phrases?

In other words, your uploaded translations are probably corrupt.

The translations available for download appear to be correct and I can't reproduce the problem.

Re: Errors in Smac Translation Files

I redown/uploaded all translation files and now it seems to work. Weird that FTP screwed it up, but ok...

THX 4 your kind help and keep up the work with SMAC :)
