Source/Valve Server real-time information for Discord servers
 

Hey guys :)
I recently created a discord bot using discord.py. I believe it will be very helpful for server owners and also communities. So here is some information about it:

What is Source Server Manager?

Source Server Manager is a bot that allows you to view real-time information about a Valve/Source server.
The bot only requires the server IP to gather this information.
This bot supports various Valve/Source game servers including CS:GO and TF2.

What information can you retrieve?
Server Name
IP Address
Amount of Players Online
Current Map
List of Players Online (with time)

Some Commands:
$help - Displays help message.
$setup - Sets up your Valve/Source server.
$server - Displays real-time information of your server.
$deleteserver - Deletes the server from database.

Why does this bot suggest Administrator permissions?

I wasn't sure what to set the number to as it checks for perms so normal users can't create a server or delete one. I'm also implementing a command where it creates a voice channel and displays the amount of players online which updates every x seconds. But for now you can change the value.

haven't tried it yet but what if you want to see multiple servers instead of one?

I realised many people have a community so I’ll be adding multi server support just not sure if it should be reaction based (they react to a message and the message is shown) or custom commands. Will be added soon though. Also what will be added soon is a list of players and their scores.

depends really, what game are you looking for? if there's a way to query servers in the game i'll be happy to make it happen

Was looking for HL1 games, cs 1.6, cz, etc.

What method or what are you using to query the data?

HL1, CS 1.6 and Condition Zero are all working fine. I'm using Source A2S

Added player list and time online
If the player list doesn't show up it may be because of a user's name (special symbols)
