AMX Mod X 1.8.2 hasn't been relevant for many years now. Version 1.9.x and 1.10.x are the versions that are more commonly used these days and have many improvements over 1.8.2.

Also, what specifically are you talking about?

Many offsets have been changed with the new update.
Updating them is not as simple, as AMXX should now support 'steam_legacy' branch and the new 25-th anniversary branch (which should not be that difficult either).

After the HL Update there is a kind of problem, when i try to install a new server with amxmodx 1.8.2.. i already report it to the crew but without a solution. You can install the 1.8.2, but you have to update it Manuel with the unstable 1.9 dev build version.

Re: Development Roundup, We need you!

Version 1.8.2 was release over a decade ago and there have been a few updates since then that may prevent it from working correctly. Version 1.9.x has been around for quite some time without any significant changes so it is the lowest version that should be being used today.

It will likely never see an official release since the community has basically died out for a game that is over two decades old.
