Version 1.1 is done
The problem with not-hitting Smoker Cloud damage was a Problem with the Bot Disconnect ... unless a Player was inside the Cloud to fill a Handle with content, it got flushed on Bot disconnect, and no further damage would happen. The crosshair message is back, temporary health handling now is just as it should be. |

The main problems with plugin now is that it stacks multiple clouds, which can be used for abuse on servers with more than 1 smokers allowed. Also I DONT HEAR ANY REGULAR COUGH SOUNDS and DONT SEE COUGH ANIMATIONS.

The team that lets multiple Smokers in their midst and then camps it out DESERVES IT. As for the Cough Sounds, Animations ... and standard "xx has killed xx" messages .. they all seem to get screwed up by the DisplayDamageEffect SDK call. Sigh, gonna have to code something different. EDIT: Version 1.2 Added. Reverted to a zero-damage point_hurt for HUD damage (does not need SDK call and gamedata file anymore) which should not bug out the HUD and coughing |

If a server has multiple smokers turned on, then they should turn down the damage duration and amount on the cloud. Simple fix. Thx again Stryker, I'll check it out after work today.

The plugin works for me, but i change the damage, time and radius, seems nothing really change. I try put the cvars in server.cfg, and i try to chance in .sp compile and copy to plugins folder, the damage keeps on 6% per 2 seconds, and total time keeps 14 seconds. I make something wrong?

It creates a config file itself, to be found at /left4dead/cfg/sourcemod/L4D_Cloud_Damage.cfg
Change the values in there :wink: EDIT: New version 1.3 added. My faithfull bot testing dummies were coughing, kill messages displayed and the applied damage was truly the one i set. |
