GEESU: since sourceMM is out now, does this mean that you will be working on the warcraft 3 mod? lol :)

I've got a question, and sorry if i double-posted (other one is on the news of sourceMM being released), but i think it should belong here. :

Is there a free program to code in C++ for sourceMM? I know JAVA but I am going to give C++ a shot. I have www.bloodshed.net's C++ program. Is that enough to code for sourceMM

1. Its best to wait till SM comes out

2. THat should work if im not mistaking. u might have a different setup of includes or something like that.

Kenshin_the_Battousai 05-09-2005 19:19

i am so lost. I am looking for the folders like public/ and I cant find them. I am looking for them over at the SDK folder. Can someone run me through on how to get to these folders. I want to start coding for sourceMM.

BigBaller 05-09-2005 21:21

Did you try the CVS?

If you mean the public folders etc from the HL2 Sdk, they are in the HL2 sdk ;) Use create a mod from scratch in steam's sdk tool, specify some directory, and then it will be somewhere in there.

Kenshin_the_Battousai 05-10-2005 17:14

yeah i kind of notice that.. but do you also do that when you want to make plugins for lets say Counter-Strike Source?

L. Duke 05-11-2005 12:00

Yes.
