if you're the original poster, you should see a delete option when editing that first post in the thread, to delete that thread

for any other post, again there's a delete option jus tfor that post

Once a thread has had 1 reply, that option goes away.

  • in forums, your posts/threads aren't really yours if you made them public. it's forbidden to hide a part of code, an idea of plugin.. so if you don't like this then don't post them publicly.
  • we should delete our posts when there is something wrong (rude, wrong informations, spam, useless, etc.), but to avoid posting them is better.

blanking out post would mean sometihng like 'nv mind i fixed it' and the original problem or tried solutions are deleted, whereas I can delete my entire post if I realize I understood something else and my post is worthless or would be considered offtopic/spam heh
