Re: russian language in the amxx
It's just the operating system that does it. Later versions have support for chinese lang tho :P

Re: russian language in the amxx
By saving it with UTF8 enconding.

Re: russian language in the amxx
IIRC, it must be UTF-8 without BOM.
|
Re: russian language in the amxx
Nope, I always use the default UTF8.

Re: russian language in the amxx
FYI, compiling with the BOM (byte order mark) will fail. I tested with the compiler distributed with AMX Mod X 1.8.2. So, if the dev compiler strips the BOM, I wouldn't know.
The term "default" seems to be relatively ambiguous in this since it's not clear if that means that it does or doesn't have the BOM. The meaning of the term default in this context is probably text editor specific. |
Re: russian language in the amxx
Well since you said "without BOM" and I said "nope", it surely means "with BOM". My Notepad++ is set to automatically change any opened file to use UTF-8 enconding. I can compile plugins fine on both 1.8.2 and 1.8.3.

Re: russian language in the amxx
You "clarified" your one word response with ambiguous language meaning that I couldn't take your one word response at face value.
I've never been able to compile with the BOM (and still can't) using the AMX Mod X compiler. Here are some of the numerous examples where people were not able to compile with BOM: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=300437 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=255399 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=244072 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=241501 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=238002 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=233895 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=233878 |
