anyone know how to fix the new hint box position?
 

it used to be down lower towards the screen, now its in the dead center

is there a way to change the location to only show the text with the icons and background?

No. It's fully controlled by the client files which cannot be overridden.

ok heres the deal, when you are alive in game the hintbox is normal (lowered position)

but when you die or goto spec it will move the hintbox to the center, and when you spawn alive again it remains in the center

sometimes it goes back to the normal (lowered position), and then goes back to center again

its really annoying

That is...ugly, it is an element that is pretty clearly designed to be at the edge (lower or upper) of the screen - if they were going to move it they should have redesigned it to be more visually pleasing in its new position.

im guessing it needs to be "refreshed" when you die or spawn

They've pretty royally fucked this, I launched the game and started to play...quickly noticed this:
