Re: Ready Steady Pan Setup

If you're running a Ready, Steady, Pan tournament server, you likely already have the tournament whitelist (if they've created one) for this tournament... is this just for making pub servers duplicate the weapon restrictions?

Side note: Plugins generally aren't allowed on tournament servers.

Re: Ready Steady Pan Setup

The tournament whitelist doesn't block stock weapons.

I made this because the Multiplay US RSP server (the one that people practice on for RSP, it's linked on readysteadypan.com) was having issues with the item whitelist. My match was on that server, and we played without a whitelist. It was still fun, but one guy on the other team started beating himself up (figuratively) because he accidentally discharged a weapon.

I already talked to SmitZ and Chippy about the plugin, just posting it here for people to use.

I guess now would be a good time to see if tf_medieval and mp_tournament work together. As I recall, all the food items are allowed in Medieval mode.

Edit: And before someone comments, there's a cvar to turn off the medieval chat.

Rocket Jumper/Sticky Jumper would be blocked, however. RSP allows those.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried a tournament config file with stock items blocked? I wrote one based on the ESL config files Thraawn generated, but forgot to save it and take it home with me yesterday.

Of course, even if it does work, I don't remember all the weapons allowed or if there are any hat/misc restrictions (and Reddit was blocked where I wrote this).

I thought you defaulted to stock weapons if your loadout failed the whitelist, so you'd just get your stuff replaced with stock weapons... so if it were a stock weapon, it'd still be a stock weapon...
