Is there a GOOD way to upgrade SM?
I'm currently running SM 1.0.4 and have basically been afraid to upgrade to the latest and greatest SM due to the chance that all my plugins will break. Is there a way to have SM auto compile all my custom scripts when it loads for the first time? I have been using SM for a while and am not entirely sure which .sp files I have modified.
Or is there a better way to go about upgrading? Running Ubuntu 8.04 32 bit and Metamod 1.4.4.705 |
Re: Is there a GOOD way to upgrade SM?
SourceMod plugins are always backwards compatible. This means that plugins compiled against *any* version will run fine on the latest SM build.

Re: Is there a GOOD way to upgrade SM?
Though if you do update SM to the latest and greatest version, you will need to update MM:S as well.

Don't forget that you have to stop the server to update the binaries for both MM:S and SM.
