What does it do?
When a player is stabbed, it's publically announced in chat and a sound is played

Cvars:
sm_knife_Owned_version - version
sm_knife_sound - path to sound file, Default: misc/haha.wav
sm_knife_enable - Enable or disable the plugin

How to install
1. Put the smx file in your plugins dir /addons/sourcemod/plugins
2. Put the sound file in /sounds/misc

It was a chop up from Knifemug by sslice & FlyingMongoose, as we didn't need to cash addon bits to it or any extra health being given out. Just simply humilate the ownd party :)

Hey so is there a way to disable the text and have a different knife sound for different steam IDs? I'm double checking if I need to convert the ES script for knife sounds before I do.

No, there is not.

Changing the sound if the "stabb-ee" was a admin or not would be a simple addition, doing it per steam ID, is excessive IMO.

just a problem...

the message appears...but the sound doesn't play..

the path is right...but the file is not download from the server... purewhite and other settings are ok...

none of the cvars seem to work for me yet the plugin works fine. Any suggestions?

Same thing here, the cvars are the only issue everything else seems to be okay. I am wondering if this might have anything to do with the fact that I am working out of a cloud server instead of the traditional hard drive. I haven't had too many issues, but maybe a directory go lost somewhere in translation. Do you guys know anything about http://www.rackspace.com?
