TF2 Halo Remover
 

The most recent TF2 update introduced a new hat, the Halo, for players who didn't use the idler program to farm for items. This means, if Valve's blog post is correct, that 95% of TF2 players will be receiving an identical, rather ugly looking hat.

This plugin simply removes halos from anyone who equips one, thereby making the game look better and avoiding all the associated drama.

For work is working but i get this spammed in error log

Kind of mean, for those that actually earned the hat by not sitting in a cheating program. Wouldn't you think?

I still fail to see the need to remove peoples halos... So what if they have a little halo? Does it affect the game play or something?

And why the hell would you kick and ban players who dont "cheat"? lol...

Would it be possible to message the player and explain why there halo is not working? Been tryin to figure out how to do it but i cant figure out how to get a name out of which entity the halo belongs to.

I didn't use the idler but got flagged and had alot of legit items removed :( Anyway, nice plugin. Oh and it isn't cheating, people who did it did not get a higher chance of hats than you did. That's the truth.
