Does anyone have interest in a WAP RCON server tool?
 

I just want to see if anyone has any interest in a WAP RCON server tool that will allow you to send RCON commands to a HL server via a cell phone web browser. I recently started a new job and I hardly have time to get on my PC so this allows me to check on it at work if I want and send a map change or whatever if I feel the need.

I currently have it up and running but it has my ip\port hard-coded into it. If anyone has interest I am going to make some changes and release it. It is coded for Windows only, in VB6.

I personally use comcast and do not have a static IP but my IP has not changed in 7 months so I have no probs with it changing. If your IP constantly changes then you will need some method of having the address available to you on your phone possibly via a redirect.

How it works:
1. Your phone connects to the WAP server and is given 2 edit boxes, 1 for the rcon command and 1 for the rcon password.
2. You enter the command & password, hit send.
3. WAP server receives command, sends it to RCON and waits for response from game server.
4. WAP server receives game server response and WAP server sends response back to phone and displays it.

It's a basic web server and an rcon command console in one. Made in visual basic.

I'm not sure of the RCON protocol differences between 1.6 and source. I can def add support for source if there are any differences.
