Plugin to control bots like CS:GO
 

Hello guys,

Since the new CS:GO is coming, I was thinking about a cool amxmodx plugin that someone could create for Condition Zero bots. Maybe a skilled guy out there could created a plugin that allows the dead players to take control over bots of the same team just like it is in CS:GO. This would be awesome for servers with bots so players wouldn't get bored watching the bots or other players. Maybe there could be some config file to decide how many times it can be done or if kills made with bots count, etc. Can someone create this?

Also, I was watching this interesting video on YouTube about a guy making a suggestion to play counter strike competitive matches one on one by controlling the bots and telling them what to do. Check it yourself at this link:

Maybe someone could make a plugin for this as a mod or something?

No AmineKyo, no that one, you didn't get the point, what you see in this video is boring, bots alone without the type of orders you see in this video do a much better work. what I am talking about would be something faster, more dynamic and more fun. Check the video I gave and listen to the guy, he explains it very well. Also like I said taking control of the bots once you are dead would be a big part this, look for videos about cs:go and controlling bots to see what I mean.

sorry to resurrect an old thread, but i'm looking for the same thing! i have seen this implemented in servers (like saigns.de) where a dead player presses a key to take over a bot (if there is any alive and not being already controlled), so i know it's doable. but i can't seem to find the name in order to implement this on my server.

any clues? cheers! :)

What you could do is, save the bot information when some one spectates a bot and presses +use button, remove the bot, spawn the player at their position, give same weapons, health, armor and the end of the round save modified information and apply to bot.

yeah, just save origin of the bot you are spectating. and spawn him there.
