How to Install the mod

Description:
- You must have already heard of the Battle Royale games which are taking over the planet, yes, I'm talking about PUBG and Fortnite.
This mod revamps the default game play into a new survival game play, where you have to kill everyone to survive.


Information regarding the mod
- The mod now supports any map, you only have to create spawn points/origins for the Airplane, Zone and Weapons/Healings, for which you will have a tutorial in the next post.

Requirements:

• Official HLDS, you can't use this mod if you're using ReGameDLL.
Orpheu (I've tested using latest version).
Random Origin Generator by HamletEagle. (if using automatic spawn points)

Features
  • Battle Royale (Team up with your friends or go alone in the battlefield)
  • Air Plane dropping (All players spawn into an airplane from where they can jump)
  • Random dropped weapons and healings
  • Fake teams (You're able to create up to 32 teams)
  • Customizable API (Almost everything is changeable through .ini files)
  • Round Manager (Will take care of the game play, no admins needed in the server)
  • Red Zone (Seen in Fortnite [storm], players outside of the zone will take damage)
  • A lot more, find out for yourself.

        • Fixed the problem that was causing round to end because of the timer

        • Added a task to check if current alive players count is less than minimum, client_disconnect wasn't working properly
        • Fixed bug that caused player who won the game to not re-spawn
        • Fixed win manager, it was bugged before
        • Fixed MOTD not appearing on people who die
        • Added a code that blocks connect MOTD

* v2.2
        • Fixed fake teams when doing duos/squads
        • Removed the task I added in 2.1, added client_disconnect again but with a different method.
        • Hopefully fixed the bug that made some players sometimes invisible and invicible. Will try to fix it if it occurs again.

* v2.3
        • Added a code that might prevent players from remaining SOLID_NOT
        • Added more commands for backpack
        • Fixed damage stats

* v2.4
        • Added new method of checking disconnect, now it works.
        • Added new native SetPlayersInTeam (don't use it if you don't know what you're doing)
        • Fixed ReLocatePlayer (was int should be float)

        • The mod now supports every map! You only have to add spawnpoints/origins yourself.
        • Made the mod 200% times more configurable, added a bunch of new .ini and .cfg files for easy access to the user.

        • VoiceChat limited to teammates - not tested
        • Added DHUD showing newbies how to jump from the plane
        • Added new camera angle, now it is similar to PUBG/Fortnite.

* v2.7
        • Fixed teammate's names not showing in the HUD
        • Fixed a flaw that let players [re]spawn at times when they weren't allowed to. (this hopefully fixes the bug that made a random person invincible).

* v2.8
        • Fixed teammate's dead/alive status not showing correctly.
        • Fixed camera showing center of the map because entity was out of map bounds (any velocity/origin axi above 4096.0 will show center of the map so make sure to lower the values when adding new origins).
        • Had to return HAM_SUPERCEDE while blocking player spawn instead of just setting m_iNumRespawns to 1, because it was still letting players spawn.

I see you have remove_entity_name on weaponbox. This calls remove_entity, and creates a leak. It will destroy the box, without the weapons from the box, as I explained before.
call_think is the proper way.

Also please avoid declaring variables in a loop.

I should also delete remove_entity_name("armoury_entity") from NewRound/RoundEnd and put it in plugin_init, right?

Yes, if armoury_entity is removed once it won't be respawned.

Done. Does Arkshine's Infinite Round block even sv_restartround? Because that's what I'm using to end the current round and start a new one.

If someone could test the mod in a live server with some friends, and leave a feedback of their experience, it would help me a lot.

Your translation has Unicode characters.
I was hoping not to use Orpheu and make it compatible for ReHLDS too but it was too much work, also I don't know how to use ReAPI functions.

Didn't see the MOD running yet, but as I saw on the video and readed the code, lemme make some suggestions:

1. Spawn more entities on the map, if there's 20 or even 32 players playing, it'll be bad.
2. The sound of the airplane drop hasn't much sense, same of the airdrop. Maybe you'll change?
3. The plane sound too, you could add the misc/plane_drone.wav.

// From the code (some of them is maybe for the next update, as your mod is BETA.
4. Add a code that drop player's items with a command, or even a loot.
5. Duos/squad, as I told to you might be cool
6.

PHP Code:

engfuncEngFunc_WriteCoord4000.0 

You could get back to the GetMaxHeight, just for optimization.

Hope you'll add more effects sounds, anyway, you did a good job.

1. That's up to the user, you can spawn as many entities as you want, that's why .ini files exist.
2. I couldn't really find any cool sound effects, but the user can always change them.
3. I'll try that
4. What do you mean? Drop healings? Isn't really necessary, as they don't take a particular slot to carry.
5. You didn't look at the CVARs, you can create as many teams as you want and customize it to your desire. You can create 32 teams and make 1 player per team, that's the same as solos, every player that connects will have his own team, you can make 16 teams and 2 player per team, that's duos, and a lot more.
6. How is using a stock that uses a while() loop an optimization compared to a direct set? As we're using just one map, it doesn't really matter if I hard code some stuff. Hard coding it is actually an optimization in my case.

About effects, I'll definitely try to add more things, just I need to make sure the mod actually works on a live server. Thanks for your feedback, greatly appreciate it! Also good luck on your mod, don't hesitate to post it when you finish it :) .

The mod is loading all the huds are loading but we arent being teleported to the airplane in order for the match to start my logs are giving out these errors

The error is self explanatory, you didn't install the signatures correctly. RestartRound is in CHalfLifeMultiplay class not CGameRules.

Did you copy-paste the Orpheu folder I provided?

1. Are you sure you're using the latest version I posted?
2. Is RestartRound signature in your configs/orpheu/virtualFunctions/CGameRules?

Its working now Thanks I had downlaoded wrong orpheu files I think
Bugs:
1. If you change camera while in the plane and then jump you become invisible for some reason
2. The default cvars are all messed up I had to manually put all the recommended cvars for it to work properly a .cfg file would be nice

You have 5 different RARITY_GLOW
1. RARITY_GREY
2. RARITY_GREEN
3. RARITY_BLUE
4. RARITY_PURPLE
5. RARITY_GOLD

The higher the rarity, the higher the damage your weapon makes.

Man, you had me scared for a while, I thought I had to re-write the entire thing, LOL.

1. That's normal, you're invisible only to yourself, it doesn't affect other people.
2. What do you mean? Also I'm not going to add a .cfg just for CVARs, you put them in amxx.cfg, I don't know why some people say you shouldn't put CVARs there, I always do and it works.

I am getting problem with parachute fall speed.
I am always staying upside.
I tried parachute_fallspeed with -25.0,100.0,300.0,-100.0 etc.

Any help?

I don't really understand, what do you mean by 'upside' ? Does it fall fast or slow? Don't change the CVARs inside the .sma, put them in amxx.cfg

I've accidentally put -25.0 as a default value in .sma file which is very slow, put something like -250.0, I use that myself. Note: You have to put -250.0 not 250.0, 250.0 causes it to go upside, that's what you probably did.

No damage with guns.
Working normal with knife.

Before or after the real round has started? (It takes 15 seconds by default for a real round to start, real round starts when you spawn in the airplane). Damage is blocked on new round for every weapon but you're saying knife works..
