CS:S Server Crashing (New Update)
 

I am having issue with my server crashing when a player joins my server. Anyone else having this issue? Possible gamedata update needed?

Yes, a gamedata update from the SourceMod development team is what's needed. If you are running 1.4.3 (or perhaps the latest 1.4.4 snapshot), you will get this by the automatic updater. They plan to release 1.4.4 stable this time, so maybe it is worth to wait for that.

I'm getting the same problem too. If only Valve stopped breaking the game with updates.

Metamod are good. DAF are good. The problem only with the SM, i think.

I appreciate Valve/HPE updating the game. While there are ways they could help mitigate our downtime (maybe announcing the updates ahead of time), the current way is much preferable to stale, buggy games.

probably just need to wait for a gamedata update for SM and/or SDKHooks (in my case)

I assume CS:S got updated with the engine fixes TF2 already had.

Therefore, you'll likely need SourceMod 1.4.4 or newer.

Already tried gamedata from source code repo...still crashing :(

Of course it is. The update hasn't come out yet.
