This does seem to have limited use, maybe I just need a little prodding to see it though.

Yes 3 seconds or something, but I think this will work on map ends too. This is just a small plugin. I thought this will be nice, because lots of servers has no freeze time so if you try to say something like "Let's plant the bomb at A" you lose 3-4 seconds when round starts.

But why would you want the other team to hear you say, "Let's plant the bomb at A?"

It turns sv_alltalk on, because I want alive players to hear dead. (Hmm when sv_alltalk is on can T's hear CT's team chat?)

sv_alltalk is for microphone communication. When alltalk is off, only your team can hear you, when its on, everyone in the server can chat with everyone else.

sv_alltalk is all talk, literally. Everyone regardless of team or dead/alive.
You're looking for something like a sv_teamtalk. I plan to add it to Advanced Chat soon. I already have "deadtalk", which lets all dead people hear everyone. |
