Debian 8/9 compile kernel 1000HZ
 

Hi,
I have linux VPS with debian 8 if it will need i can update to debian 9.
I need recompile it to 1000HZ for 1000FPS stable but i dont know how. All tuts what i find is old or not solve my problem to do 1000HZ or links are broken and i dont know how to improve.
Can somebody help me please?

You don't need 1000hz kernel for this. Changing timer and priority can easily provide the desired results, but you would have already knew that, if you done proper research.

2 days i only searching this and really dont find answer like this. How can i change that timer and priority?

Grab the process's pid. Then execute the following commands.

• chrt -r -p -99 (pid of the process)
• renice -19 (pid of the process)

Should work.

OK i will try before i tried real time kernel and Liquorix Kernel on this kernels i have more fps with pingboost 3 it goes to 20000 but unstable had drops. I will try this and we will see cant be problem in VPS? I have VPS from contabo. I have VPS M SSD is possible to have 1000FPS or more stabel on this? Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz, 4 cores and 12GB RAM

when i open htop i have more processes run with ./hlds_run parametres i must give it to all?

I do it with all processes ./hld_run and still have fps drops
