Oh, ok thanks for hosting them, its just too hard to host on our server, sql makes it complicated :P. Also, is there going to be a cookie that saves your login info so you dont have to keep logging in?

Are you referring to sourcebans or sourcebanshost?

Do you click the 'remember me' checkbox when you login?

if you do, then you probobly have cookies disabled or something. Because it works for everyone else, afaik

I'm sorry if this was asked before, but is there a way that you can import the bans from a banned_user.cfg file? Does this update the banned_user.cfg files across all of the servers when a ban is made on any server or through the web admin?

Re: SourceBans (1.0.0 RC1d)

Hi!
I ran into a few problems moving from rc1b to rc1d...
Cserverinfo.php changed... a lot. looks like your now caching the server info, and reading it from file. is that right? Anyways, it didn't work at all for me, and i'm not sure what file actually does the server queries, but I reverted that file back to the rc1b, and server queries work again.

Your website has not sent a confirmation email to me, so I'm unable to log in / post....

Ability to import banned_user.cfg is a must.. I have a HUGE list, and I'm not going to input it one at a time..

I also have a large list of admins... many of whom will never use the web site, ( don't have permission to ban ) so they do not need a web password, but your system requires it. Could you add a switch so we can have admins / reserve slots that do not have web access?

Related to that is the use of 'admin_simple.cfg'... I place reserve slot player in there for ease of use.. but your plugin doesn't let it get used? Can you let the admin_simple work?

Multiple clans / seperate server groups. I have several clans that I deal with, and I'd like to isolate there ability to control each others bans / admins / server. Could you place another layer of control to isolate the servers and admins? This would make it easier to handle rather than creating seperate installations for each clan.

Thanks
Chumly

You don't actually need to use that login very much.. Find the link to your banlist at http://sourcebanshost.net/?p=banlists , then you can log in directly with that.

I'm looking into getting rid of the fact you need two logins, so hopefully the fact that one doesnt save your information wont be a problem for much longer.
