Compatibity?

Is Amx Mod X Gonna be Compatible With Cs 1.5 in addition to steam..

because I prefer 1.5 over steam. I cant stand steam even though I have in installed on all my computers along with 1.5 witch we only play 1.5. steam on a rare ocassion..
