Steam game servers query issues ?
 

Does anyone know if steam is or can block/ban server ip's from steam browser ? I'v encountered an issue where a certain game developer somehow managed to block an ip range for one of the servers hosted on their game and thus affecting all servers from any games hosted on those ip's using steam services.

actually just found out they are blacklisting ip addresses and pretty much that ip will no longer display any type of game server gg

The client gets the server list from Steam, and then query the server's ip for its map, number of players, e.t.c...
So on your server side, drop those queries from blocked ips should work. I'm not sure how, but it may involve native function hooking which is very hard.
