idk if this kid is hacking or what but how can he do adminchat? cause he doesn't have access.

Also I had this guy in my server 3 days ago or so that changed his name to "THIS SERVER IS GETTING HACKED" next thing I know is that everyone's ping goes over 200 and server crashes. I restarted server and next thing I know is that he exits everyone's game. He wasn't found in amx_who either.


How do I prevent people from accessing admin commands if they're not admin(s).

People from goroncity.net have been exploiting my server and stuff :(

amx_chat command is a public command.

people who dont have access can use that command.

as far as some other dude saying this server is getting hacked. I Dunno, look @ the HL logs and ban his IP?

To my understanding, Admin Chat lets users send messages to all admins in the server, much like a PM

There are HL1 engine exploits all over the place out there. It's annoying, but they still exist, and since Valve doesn't seem to want to patch the bugs, you unfortunately have to grin and bear it. Hopefully you can catch the logs prior to the crash and see exactly who did the crashing.

As far as the chat thing you are seeing, thats normal. It's just using say_team @ "text". I do it all the time on CS servers when I'm chatting w/ friends who are admins.
