AMXX STUDIO Crashing
 

AMXX Studio crashes whenever i try to open any .sma file anytime, used version 1.8.2 and 1.8.1 both the same results.
It just shows me the "An error occurred in the application." window no matter if i click Reset application or try a different file.

On the bug report it only shows on the bottom that the SciLexer.dll was not found, but its there, located at "AMX Mod X\amxxstudio"

I've used it before on the same laptop, nothing has changed on it since i last used it before several months.

Also tried to download SciLexer.dll from somewhere else than amxmodx.org and replace it, but it still doesn't work.

Reinstall it?
Where is your file location?

I have reinstalled it multiple times, tried it on both versions.
My file location is just C:/AmxModX

Why don't you use Sublime Text instead? There's a package for Pawn coding and it's much more modern. As far as I know the guy who wrote AMXX Studio is inactive.

That would suck. Have you tried making a new windows user account, login after profile is made and then test? Let us know what it was. Grabbing files from unpredictable sources like Microsoft has been known to crash computers and apps.

Sublime Text seems handy, but its kinda complicated to get it started.
To begin with - It doesn't read my .inc files correctly, finding errors in base libraries and such.

I thought the same. But it's not complicated. Just add the package to Sublime's package folder and choose your compiling settings.
