Nightly Builds
Rather than keep releasing RCs, I have decided to implement something new.
Now you can get nightly packages for AMX Mod X. Starting this night, these packages will be built and uploaded directly from CVS for all platforms. Automatically. Now, you can get the most "up to date" version every day you want. You can browse the nightly build archive here: www.amxmodx.org/nightly/ If you note any packaging errors, now is a good time to report them :) Packages are sorted like this: <platform> / <YYYYmmDD> / <amxmodx-target-0.20-<DATE>> So find the current build by the current date. The script runs at 5AM Eastern Standard Time. As we make changes I'll note them in various changelog files you can see in the nightly folder. The changelogs will be rotated every time a new internal release is finished. NOTE: This does not supercede releases, it supercedes beta packages. From now on releases will only be "final" releases, as anyone can now test the betas. Enjoy! [also: if you would like a copy of these scripts you may contact me] |
YAY this means qick bug updates :)
besides the fact that there is no amxxsc.exe in the base package,
this looks very good to me! that's a great idea with the nightly builds :D so the amxx 0.20 hungry people can always be up-to-date :D |
Thanks firestorm, I have fixed this for the next build cycle :]
they are compiled on mingw right. the windows compile.
Nope. Built by MSVS 7.0
where did you find the command line interface for MSVC 7.0 O_o
Wraith, told me about it. devenv /build
Gah i don't like the command line interface of devenv because it doesn't support font color: only type and size! That prevented me from doing the simplest version of DarkBA1L launcher.. grr!
Btw CVS builds: pld BAILOPAN :D |
Automatically <-- I really don't know how much "extra" it would be, but whats about special i686 compiles than? If its just one more line to a batchfile, i would really appreciate that. :)
