Yeah, it's been a while, but finally released: GabenMod!

If you didn't read the last news post, it's a Counter-Strike Mod made to be similar to Team Fortress Classic. You can select a class when you enter a server and use its abilites to upgrade your weapon or just to get faster. You gain points by killing other players, planting the bomb or rescuing a hostage.

However, most of you already know what it this mod is like (you can check it out on our Official Server sponsored by NuclearFallout.net.) so I don't think I have to say a lot about it :)

yes, you need it for the new feature. you only need to enable cl_allowdownload and it works (just tested it).

Hi, I've been playing at "AMX Mod X Official Server - by NuclearFallout.Net" (63.251.20.31:27015) and as of today, once you die your weapons don't come back! There's also some new teleporters on some maps, so I'm assuming the mod version was updated or some setting was changed?

Does anyone know if thiss this a bug or are our weapons not supposed to come back for some reason?

I get this when I try to start my server.
Mod_NumForName: models/teleporter.mdl not found.
Then the server just crashes.

edit: Okay, it's updated. These spawns took a bit longer than I thought :roll:

working great...well...i've noticed that whenever people mapvote for assault, the server seems to crash. it might happen with other maps too...

yup, that was a known bug but should be fixed now.

If I'm being a nuisance and just stating the obvious please let me know (just trying to help). With that said, hostages no longer go through walls (at least not on Italy), nothing really exists in Militia, and points aren't being saved from map to map.

what do you get when you do "amxx list" in your rcon console, any errors? are you using the latest version? have you uploaded the latest map files?

edit: hmm, I can confirm this hostage bug, it's fixed in CVS, I'll update the plugin thread later I think. however, I cannot reproduce this points bug, everything seems to work for me. are you sure the gm_pointskeeper plugin is enabled?

oh, well this is all going down in the official server. i don't run my own server.
