Showing .mdl files in browser

Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask if there is any existing method to display .mdl files in the browser.
I was unable to find something related to that, so I thought maybe someone else here knows something about that.

Greetz,
Kia.

Build a third-party plugin maybe?

.mdl files show just fine in the file browser. Are you asking for a preview in the file browser?

Ahh . . . lol. The simplest (but not most convenient to set up) method is to make a screenshot image of each model and show that. Of course, this assumes that you are trying to incorporate these files into your own website. Though, it sounds like this is probably not the case.

You could take a look at Half-Life Model Viewer's source code and try to convert it to Java applet.

How I can upload textures? I upload OBJ file, texture list was created, but how I can upload BMP files for model?
If I try Drag & Drop image file, I got "Let's try .obj format instead!" error.
