New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
There is a major issue with Source Mod in the fact with Subscriptions enabled on the server it will not rotate to any custom maps, and voting will only show the default maps from steam and not show any custom maps...
Also, the P command will only show maps that is in the maps directory, not the downloaded subscribed directories that steam has setup that are in sub directories of the game id. This only happens with SourceMod loaded and running version 1.62 |
Re: New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
Do you use the native voting, or an SM plugin? If you're using Workshop that might complicate it too, I know the file paths are different so SM may not be able to find the files.

Re: New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
I have plenty of SM plugin's but none for voting. As for native voting, I have Kick Player, Restart Game, Restart Round, and AI Count. No other voting.

Re: New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
OK, have you edited addons/sourcemod/configs/adminmenu_maplist.ini and addons/sourcemod/configs/maplists.cfg to have the right maps in there? Are you able to do sm_map and change the map that way? I am actually working on looking at how SM handles map changes since there is the game mode parameter which I don't believe gets passed right now, but I have the two map files set up and have no issues with custom maps. Also, since I'm curious, what is the path where your subscribed maps live?

Re: New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
Ugh... I missed that one I think mine should probably be
"target" "mapcycle_custom" instead of "target" "mapcyclefile" Somehow, I had missed that file all together... I also see reference to: "addons/sourcemod/configs/adminmenu_maplist.ini", but that file does not seem to exist in my system... What format should that file be listed in??? |
Re: New Insurgency - SM Issues with Subscriptions
Exact same format as the mapcyclefile. And I believe that "mapcyclefile" means "look at the mapcyclefile cvar and parse that file", but hopefully someone more SM savvy can come and clarify.
