CS:GO -> MOHAA Freeze-Tag
 
Hi guys. I wanted to know if any of you could and would like to re-create this famous game mode "Freze-Tag" from the game Medal of honor allied assault.

Freezetag is quite much like Teem Deathmatch, with the following addition:

Whenever people die, they are frozen. Kinda like "sm_freeze", with some markers around them.

It is then quite similar to hostages from hostage rescue maps with a tiny difference.

You will use your USE key (typically E), for like 5-10'ish seconds or so, and when you have done that, the dead player will resurrect.

In 2009, [CSS] Team Freeze Tag was crated, which sounds quite similar.

In 2012, there was a similar request for CS:S: css freeze tag like mohaa???.

Later in 2012, a similar TF2 specific plugin were released: [TF2] Freeze Tag.

The fact they mention CS:S or TF2 doesn't always mean that they won't work in e.g. CS:GO or other games, so to begin with, I would personally suggest trying them out.

I must add that when there is 1 minute left for the round, people who were frozen die, and only those who were alive remain. Live people have 1 minute to commit suicide; otherwise, they will die by a bomb and the round will end in a draw. Frozen people look like this:

To revive a person you have 2 ways of doing it. The first is through the player, and the other is by pressing the "e" key, emitting a lazer beam to the player with the team color.

Also as you will see in the lower left you also have a counter of the players who are alive.

I've started to work on a prototype, doesn't look too bad so far.

Sounds great, I haven't work on it today and I will be really busy this week but I will try to find sometime to complete it. I had issues with RayTracing to allow players to unfreeze from a distance with E since the entities are not solid. I don't think making them solid is good either because it could be blocking doorways and annoy players so I will only implement unfreeze in a radius for the moment until I find a solution to this problem.

I managed to extract the sounds of the game in conjunction with the source of the freeze-tag, so that it could be oriented in a better way.
