Hello guys,

WebLinks is a Web Shortcuts replacement

Supported games/tested: CS:GO, TF2


I do not provide any support with installing webfiles on own hosting.

Installation: Instructions can be found here


Installation


Features:
  • WebLinks recognizes if entered url is valid and exists

This needs to have a large warning about what data you are sending to your site and what you're storing for how long.

Whats different to WebShortcuts.. Maybe this works? And ripping your WenLync plugin name? I think WebLinks makes more sence that WebLync.. Well :D Do you wanna argue over plugin name?

Yes. Dont steal my plugins name. Lync is Microsoft application used for chat in big business and many people have used lync over link.

Of course this will not work.. Since the website is http and not https :) Replace it and it should works.

Hmm I dont have CSS So I cannot say.. But in both your cases you dont need to use goo.gl shortener.

Guys, I dont have css, So i cannot test it.. :/ And with shortener it works ?

"Make the source code available - It should be attached as a separate addition to any package you upload, for the quick-ease of access for Approvers."

This should apply to any files that also is required by the plugin, like web-files. Starting to get really annoying that people only share parts of whats needed. Im sure some are grateful that cant host files by themselves and that you offer doing it for them is super nice! But it should be OPTIONAL and either way the files should be posted so people know whats in it and how it works.

Well :) Maybe you are right :) maybe not :) But the php will be private until it will be necessary.

And about the CSS.. It will not work since for SteamWorks for no reason does not send requrests on CSS

No :) But I do not see any reason to release the php as well. If you do not want to use this.. you can leave this thread.. I do not know why people are so suspicious about this.. when WebLync does the same :) (php is not released)

Im not using weblyncs or weblinks because there is no webfiles released. I dont see the problem nor the reason not to release the webfiles. Should be easy but for some reason (suspicious or not), your not willing.

I tested on debian. But i found a solution. I just replaced this plugin to webshortcuts and it works great for me.
