SourceBans not working properly now.
 

Since the Steam Update and having them change the Steam_ID's, my SourceBans is not working properly anymore.

I have the latest SourceMod and MetaMod installed and yet it is still failing? :cry:

I get this message when I go to 'View Profile' - Can't get playerinfo for DoMessWithProfile - Backup. Player not on the server anymore!

I cannot Kick, Ban or View Profile anymore. However I can Send Message?

This is very weird and I am hoping it can be fixed? My Version is Version 1.4.10 .

Any help would be appreciated. :)

If you used a script to change old ids to new ids before you updated SM, you need to revert those changes because they won't work

However I had not changed any of the ID's at all. I still have the old ID's in my servers and in my SourceBans Admins Page.

You sure you installed SM1.6.2-git4558 or greater?

yes he does i do his servers for him. i got mmsource-1.10.2-git911-windows and sourcemod-1.6.2-git4559-windows on his servers.

Sb's rcon interface won't work with the new system iirc, so when you use the webpanel, it seizes up.

Yes Friagram, I was told that from my friend who runs my Hosting Company for my SourceBans Site.

So I certainly hope that this can be fixed with an Update maybe?

Well.. In order to give my Admins access to be able to Ban now, I have had to remove the sourcebans.smx and then upload the basebans.smx to the plugins folder so that it will now work for them.

I certainly hope that SourceBans can really be Updated so that this can be fixed. It is also very weird that my earlier version of SourceBans was working fine and I was able to have my Senior Admins listed on the Web Panel Admin and still have the Junior Admins able to use their Admin also. I am assuming that this was because the earlier .smx I still had in my servers (Despite the Web Panel Update) was not removing the basebans.smx.

I cannot understand why they could not work together like they did before. Now in the new .sp it states that it will remove the basebans.smx to the disabled folder. So perhaps I should look into bringing back the old sourcebans.smx and .sp's so that things will all work again? :shock:

Again, basebans.smx doens't interfere with admin permissions at all. It is removed, so it doesn't try to add a "Ban player" option to the admin menu too, because there can only be one named like that at the same time.
Make sure basebans is disabled.

To get the web kicking and view profile stuff working again, check this revision. I don't have a tf2 server, but i think this should work.
