Re: Advertisements
For 'T' {Orange} works in TF2.
But I had a question, for 'M', people are reporting it's not allowing them to use their 1, 2, & 3 keys to switch weapons when the advert is up. Anyway to stop it, or just avoid 'M' all together. |
Re: Advertisements
I took M off so dont use that for TF2. It does do that.

Re: Advertisements
Yeah, they'd have to press 0 first to hide the M advert. There's no way around that.

Re: Advertisements
i seem to be having an issue with the
C (sm_csay) type advertisment it will display when it supposed to (every 400 seconds) but it dosent display long enough it pretty much shows for 1 second and disappears i tested how long sm_csay shows for and it was definatly longer then the advertisment plugin, around 5 seconds this stayed up am i doing something wrong, is it possible to set a duration for how long the message displays for? |
Re: Advertisements
My plugin uses the same command sm_csay uses (PrintCenterText), and it shows up for a couple of seconds for me. Which game are you using it on?
|
Re: Advertisements
im using it for counter strike source, it shows up for around 1 second
hardly enough to read even 4 words |
Re: Advertisements
Tsunami I think this error you overlooked might be the source of the person above's problem. I think it still works but makes a nice error log.
Code:
L 05/06/2008 - 19:46:23: [SM] Native "GetArrayString" reported: Invalid index 0 (count: 0) |
Re: Advertisements
That error can only occur if it can't find advertisements.txt, as long as that file is in the configs folder and it actually has ads in it it should work fine. I'll obviously fix it so that error won't come up anymore, but that shouldn't be his problem.

Re: Advertisements
You should make it say cant find ads.txt or something instead. Ya, I forgot to put it there.
