AMX-X Is installed but i Cant Connect to server

19:22:56 Currently loaded plugins:
description stat pend file vers src load unlod

[ 2] Fun RUN - fun_amx_i386.so v0.16 cmd ANY ANY

[ 4] CS Stats RUN - csstats_amx_i386 v0.16 cmd ANY ANY

That is the meta list command via HLSW console. But when ANYONE tries to connect to the server they get this message (ANYONE = admins, non admins, literally NO ONE can connect):

You have been disconnected from the server.
Reason:Kicked: You have no entry to the server.

I reinstalled everything from a fresh download and it didnt help. So its AMXX v. 0.16, and MetaModx from your site on a Linux box. Please help, cuz if this persists i will have to completely uninstall and not use..

On a side note: If im logged into my shell account for my server what are the commands to stop the server and restart it. I can stop it by using Rcon Quit but what is the command to restart it exactly as it was before??

Ok, i changed the amx_mode to 1 (which is default) somehow in console is showed as set to 2.0, is the amxx.cfg exec'ing?? But i need to reboot the server via shell (as I asked above) and still cant remember the stupid command... I connect to the host, cd hlds_l, then... bah, im drawing a complete blank here..

there is a bug that amxx.cfg does not execute on some servers (is fixed for next release)

a quick fix
put this in server.cfg:
exec addons/amxx/configs/amxx.cfg

If you are running the server in the screen, you need to type screen -r to go into the screen.

Then you hit Ctrl+C. That will kill the server.

If you get a list of 2 or more screens when you type screen -r, then you need to add the name/number of the screen after screen -r

Example:

Code:

[user@server directory]$ screen -r
There are several suitable screens on:
        13174.hlds      (Detached)
        24335.ventrilo  (Detached)

To get to the hlds screen, you would type screen -r hlds OR screen -r 13174

Have fun.

Adding the "exec addons/amxx/configs/amxx.cfg" to the server.cfg did the trick.. any reason why the defaults on this should even need that?
