Mechanical keyboards

Anyone here who has a mechanical keyboard and has a spring noise on any of the keys? Like when you press a key, you can hear the spring go off? I read and learnt that almost 1/3 of every mechanical keyboard that uses Cherry MX or it's clones have the spring issue. Does anyone have succeeded fixing it? I'm losing it over the spring noise on my 'A' key.

You have to slowly press it to hear the spring noise go off. Most likely switches with the spring issue are harder to press.
I'm gonna try inject lube into mine tomorrow, if that doesn't work then I'm going to RMA it.

BTW, are you using Brown switches? It sounds tactile but not as clicky as blues

Cherry MX is the brand of the switches, thus they have different kind of switches with different colors and characteristics.

Red - Linear, silent.
Brown - Tactile, but not as loud as blues (mid-ground)
Blue - Tactile, very clicky.

You can check what kind of switch you have by removing the keycap of one of the keys.

Oh okay. I'll try that at home.

It sounded clicky asf in the voice recording you sent, maybe your mic was just super close to the keyboard, lol.

I lubed my 'A' key and it's quieter now, gonna try lube again and see if the noise is gone, or just RMA it.
