[Goldsource] any Coder looking for work?
 

Hullo hope this is allowed here,

a friend on Discord redirected me here and said i might find someone here after a long journey

im working on a project with Goldsource wich i made 100% of the Mapping and so far 3 volunteers the Coding but need a 4th one for the Finish (can be paid!!!)

the Project is a Cyberpunk Mod set in the Future, its made in goldsource using C++ and the Original Vanilla Half Life with some features from SOHL ported over, it is currently stored on Gitlab

Features so far:
- 3or 4 new Plasma Weapons
- Deployable Sentry
- Respawn System
- customizable Shop system
- GUI Info Window (env_paper)
- Flashlight Weapon
- healing weapons
- Plasma Based Fights for Enemies

i made a small forum with list of bugs/features divided into 4 categories

DONE
HIGH PRIORITY
MEDIUM PRIORITY
LOW PRIORITY

tho every bit helps but as i mentioned 100$ is probably what i can do.

You do realize It's not some beginner-friendly language like Python where even you can start off easily without considering anything? I'm astonished to even see some folks work in CPP for such low prices.
Whether It's a small modification done to a huge CPP project, it would still be worth a lot more than what you'd offer. It's not Pawn all the way up to Java, It's a lot higher. lol

yes i know its very hard thats why i had 3 coders so far since its to time cconsuming and powering out but the good thing is most stuff is already done and theres a codebase so nothing has to be done from scratch its mostly bugfixes and from 37 points only 16 left of wich only 9 are important and the rest medium or very low still hoping its possible to find someone but i appreciate your feedback

If it were done from scratch, then you would have to offer fifty times more than what you can at the moment, for basically reverse engineering an entire game. lol
I've made it perfectly clear. Heck, there can always be some goofball who would raise their hand to do it for an insultingly low price (Wish you best of luck that you find one lol), but don't count on it.
