MetaMod in Portal 2?

Hi.

Do any of you guys ever tried to use MetaMod with Portal 2?

I mean, we all know it works well in CS:GO, and since both engines are quite similar it shouldn't be a problem. I actually tried renaming the CS:GO DLL and puting it in metamods bin to make it work but I got the "Could not find IVEngineServer! Metamod cannot load" error.

But could such thing be possible?

Since there is no dedicated server for Portal 2, it's libraries are protected by Valve's DRM.

I managed to get MetaMod Source working for

kinda strange that it will refuse to work in Portal 2 :(
